About Sudoku Online

Sudoku Online is a browser-based Sudoku site focused on one thing: giving you a fast, pleasant place to play real puzzles—whether you are a beginner learning the rules or an experienced solver chasing cleaner, quicker finishes. We combine a simple game interface with guides (How to Play, strategies, difficulty explanations) so the site offers more than just a grid and a timer.

What we are trying to do

We want Sudoku to feel approachable: no app store download, no forced signup for the core experience, and clear feedback through scoring and the leaderboard when you choose to compete. Players in South Africa and elsewhere use the site on phones, tablets, and desktops; we optimise for readability, dark mode, and touch-friendly controls where we can.

Revenue from optional premium puzzle packs (PDF downloads) and, when enabled, display advertising helps cover hosting and development. The standard game remains free to play so anyone can practise logic puzzles without a paywall.

Accounts, data, and privacy (overview)

You can play as a guest. If you sign in, we use Firebase Authentication so you can save scores to the leaderboard and keep a consistent display name. We do not sell your personal information. For details on cookies, analytics, ads, and payments, read our Privacy Policy.

Premium purchases are processed by PayFast (or as configured for your region). We only use payment data as needed to fulfil your order and comply with law.
